Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’ve been using the Char-Griller Akorn since 2017, when I first got into competition BBQ, and the Akorn, has helped me to many reserve and grand championships titles, including New Zealand National Champion in 2020. I’ve won trophies in Australia and Texas using the Char-Griller Akorn, it’s the most versatile, fuel-efficient barbecue on the market!
I love cooking barbecue in my backyard for family and friends, and love that look on people’s faces, when they try that Char-Griller experience and flavour for the first time!

Favourite dish to grill:
I love cooking beef, steak, tri-tip, brisket, short rib, so many cuts with different textures and cook times, always makes for a tasty challenge!
Fun Fact:
I’m one of the few guys on the circuit without a beard and tattoos! I’ve come first in 3 countries, all cooking on the Char-Griller Akorn!
Favourite Activity:
Spending time with family and friends, from fishing with my son, to hitting the beauty shops with my teenage daughter, and I always love cooking with them, and for them.
